I was intending to wait and point at this when I'd written an actual, you know, post with content, but then I remembered how often that happens, so: as well as persistently not getting around to writing livejournal entries, I am now intending to actually get around to writing entries at my new food blog, Raspberry Debacle. Coming in the next week:
  • Salads - gosh they're rubbish, aren't they?
  • A ten-thousand-foot-tall mountain of rice pudding.
There's a feed at [info]raspbry_debacle, thanks to [info]thewronghands, because "raspberrydebacle" is one letter too long for Livejournal.

Book-book-book! (I've written five.) When I was feedifying it earlier, I didn't realize that it was yours! I must now keep it on my flist.

(You can of course ignore me, but it's fun to insist about the book.)

Mmmmmmmm. Fantastic idea, and very inspiring to read! After a certain young lady baked some truly gorgeous chocolate brownies at my place last weekend, my love of baking has been reawakened, and I want to do lots of creative food things now!

Plus, if you ever need any help eating any of your creations, I'll be more than willing to help! :P

Looking forward to hearing about Rice Pudding! (not so sure about the Salads)

Lovely, to creative food things - do let me know if you have any particularly compelling strokes of genius.

And there's always stuff around here that needs eating, it's just a matter of persuading you (and a certain young lady, if she feels like it) to trek down from the Distant North. Or I could get around to finally coming to some Sunday games, but that seems less likely, because I'm very lazy.

If there's delicious food on offer, I'm easily pursuaded to visit you, and I'm sure I can find some evening next week. Do you have a mobile number or some other convenient way of contacting you to warn you of a visit? I'd feel terribly awkward just turning up on your doorstep demanding cake.

I've found a way to make salad edible. A few cans of herring (with mustard sauce mmm) and a nice helping of chilli sauce for garnish. Can't taste no pesky lettuce anymore

Hi! I realised after the J&W readthrough that I'd never actually friended you on LJ, and couldn't think of any reasons why not to, and so did. If I've forgotten an ages old vendetta concerning a moose and a swordfish please remind me! ;-)

I'm pretty sure there's no vendetta - I think the only reason I didn't friend you earlier is that I gave up friending people unilaterally about the time I gave up writing in my journal - it seemed rude, for some reason. (I do have a vague intention of beginning to write in it again but, you know. Intentions.)

Salads are yummy! The British just don't know how to make them properly. ;)
